The F-TYPE is engineered for high performance and the handling is designed to be instantaneously responsive, including: powerful supercharged engines and a lightning-fast gearbox, lightweight aluminum body construction and an obsession with balance and proportion, a superb suspension and a host of advanced driving technologies, peerless design and a driver focused cockpit.

There are four models in the F-TYPE range. While each offers its own distinctive characteristics, all are equally at home on mountain switchbacks, on the highway or in the city.
F-TYPE Convertible Highlights
  • The F-TYPE is an all-new two-seat Jaguar soft-top convertible sports car
  • Front-engine, lightweight aluminum architecture and rear-wheel drive, the F-TYPE is engineered to be a true high-performance sports car
  • Three models will be available - F-TYPE, F-TYPE S and the F-TYPE V8 S, powered respectively by the new Jaguar supercharged 3-liter V6 engine in 340hp and 380hp outputs and a 495hp 5-liter supercharged V8�
  • The convertible top folds in 12 seconds at speeds up to 30 MPH
  • Constructed on the fourth generation of Jaguar lightweight aluminum architecture. Torsional and lateral stiffness have been prioritized to maximize handling agility
  • The F-TYPE introduces a new sports car design language for Jaguar, with bold, clean lines accented by the discreet use of technology, including a �deployable rear spoiler and hidden door handles
  • Exciting performance, with 0-to-60 in 5.1 seconds for the F-TYPE, 4.8 for the S model and 4.2 for the V8 S. The V8 S has a top track speed of 186 mph2
  • All engines drive through an eight-speed 'Quickshift' automatic transmission, with a center console-mounted SportShift gear selector and steering wheel-mounted paddles for full manual control
  • Available Configurable Dynamics program allows the driver to tailor a number of the dynamic features to personal taste and includes displays for lap timer �and G-meter functions1,2
  • Driver-focused interior melds classic sports car feel with high-tech controls
F-TYPE Coupe Highlights
  • Originally penned as the C-X16 concept car by Ian Callum, the F-TYPE Coupe brings that concept car design to reality
  • The new F-TYPE Coupe model line-up is headlined by the F-TYPE R Coupe, with a 550hp 5-liter supercharged V8 engine, enabling acceleration from 0-60 �mph in 4.0 seconds, and a top speed of 186 mph (limited)2
  • The F-TYPE Coupe is built on a rigid bonded and riveted all-aluminum platform
  • Second-generation Electronic Active Differential1 and All-new Torque Vectoring� system1 to deliver enhanced agility and handling at the limit
  • V6-powered models complete the range, powered by 380hp and 340hp 3-liter supercharged V6 engines, giving 0-60 mph2 in 4.8/5.1 seconds and top �speeds of 171 and 161 mph respectively
  • An optional Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) braking system - featuring 398/380mm (15.7/15-inch) discs front/rear will be available after introduction
  • ZF Eight-speed 'Quickshift' transmission with full manual sequential control via steering wheel-mounted paddles or the central SportShift lever
  • The F-TYPE Coupe has ample trunk space - easily accommodating two sets of golf clubs - with an available power assisted tailgate
  • The F-TYPE Coupe complements the "2013 World Car Design of the Year" winner, the F-TYPE Convertible
